The awards are open to those working within both the financial advice community and among the broader financial services sector in the UK.

Nominees can be involved in roles relating to UK-based financial advice, adviser support services, platform provision, investment, retirement, protection and mortgage solutions - including but not limited to management, strategy, product development, marketing, communications, sales, compliance, human resources or front, middle or back-office operations.

Please note a person can only be nominated in a maximum of three categories. Women currently on maternity leave can certainly be nominated.

The winners will be announced in October 2018.

 

Financial Adviser of the Year

Open to women whose achievements and work within financial advice in the UK have helped enhance the sector or raise its profile as a career for women - whether through education, training, leadership, mentoring or acting as a role model. The nominee must be able to demonstrate their influence in attracting and/or retaining women into financial advice.

There is no age limit and candidates can be graduates, non-graduates, trainees, managers or perhaps have entered financial services in recent years from a different sector. Nominees must have been working in UK financial services for fewer than three years on 1 July 2018.
